Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Stagebound platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
Description of Service
Stagebound is a casting management platform that enables casting teams to manage auditions, pipelines, and performer data. The Service includes tools for QR code check-in, performer search, audition scheduling, and team collaboration.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis with different tiers. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Each user must have their own account. Sharing account credentials is prohibited. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to casting and talent management. You must not: use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or harm any person; upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data; use the Service to collect or store personal information about performers without their consent; interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
Casting organizations must comply with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws when using the Service to make casting decisions.
Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including headshots, resumes, and performer profiles. By uploading content, you grant Stagebound a limited license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.
Casting organizations own the casting data they create within their workspace (notes, tags, pipeline stages, scores). Performer profile data is owned by the performer and shared with organizations they check in to.
Upon account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
Subscription and Billing
Paid features require a subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a per-seat, per-month basis unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stagebound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. You may terminate your account at any time through the Service settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, data ownership, and dispute resolution) will survive.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the jurisdiction where Stagebound is incorporated, except where prohibited by law.
You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@stagebound.app before initiating formal proceedings.
COPPA Compliance
The Service is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
Minors between 13 and 18 may use the Service with verifiable parental or guardian consent, consistent with industry standards for young performers.
